  • Therapy Process and Approach

    Welcome and we are so glad you are here!

    Therapy is an investment in yourself, your relationships, your health and your goals. 

    We know taking this first step to reach out for help is not easy and can be stressful and scary.  We hope to make it as easy and straight forward as possible. 

    New clients begin the journey with a 75 minute meeting which includes a psychological evaluation, assessment of current mental health concerns, and personal goals. The frequency of following sessions depends on your individual needs and goals.

    Combined training of Licensed Individual, Couple, and Family Therapist and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine bring together a number of modalities to draw from based on each client's personalities and needs.

    These modalities include and are not limited to: Family Systems, Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Nutritional Psychiatry.   We work with clients to improve emotional wellness and mental health concerns through psychotherapy, coaching, latest science in real food nutrition and other alternative strategies.  

    We strive to provide an individualized, wholistic, 'YOU' centered treatment.

  • Investment

    Sasha works with clients virtually, residing in OH and FL via a HIPAA compliant web platform.

    Insurance is currently NOT accepted. Starting therapy is an investment and a commitment to yourself.  It takes time, effort, and consistency in order to get results.

    We will work together to determine the length and frequency of sessions based on your needs and budget.

    Initial Assessment (Mental health or Nutritional) 75 minutes

    Couples/Family Session 75 minutes

    Individual Session 60 minutes

    HIPAA compliant email or text messaging (up to 5 check in’s) included in the cost of the weekly session to provide further support and guidance. Additional support services, such as “concierge” therapy, between session check in’s, and brief sessions can be arranged on individual basis. 

  • Benefits of Self Pay

    Advantages of self-pay for counseling services:

    Your information is 100% confidential. (Legal exceptions apply).

    With insurance coverage, your therapist will have to provide a diagnosis which will become part of your medical record and considered a "pre-existing condition". This may be an issue when applying for life insurance, certain jobs, and other circumstances.

    You are required to give up private information in order to be covered by insurance.

    Insurance employees might ask for personal information in order to determine if you quality for coverage or not. instead of leaving this information to be determined by you and your therapist.

    Unlimited number of sessions

    Insurance often limits the number of sessions it will cover based on "medical necessity".

    Marital and Couple Counseling is rarely covered.

    Instead, the therapist is required to give a mental health diagnosis to one of the partners, an "identified patient.  Insurance will then authorize an additional person to join the sessions. 

    You can choose any therapist you prefer based on their expertise.

    With insurance, you will be choosing a therapist from the network of providers.  If your company changes insurance companies, as they often do, you may have to change to another therapist. 

    No deductibles to worry about.

    You may have to satisfy a deductible before session are covered by insurance.
